A real home, with real experience behind it.
Step into Peninsula Respite Care and you'll feel it straight away. This isn't a facility, it's a home, run by a husband-and-wife team who've been welcoming guests since 2019.

Run by husband-and-wife team Tony and Leonie, our farmstay offers a warm, personalised respite experience set on quiet rural land, where genuine care meets the calm of everyday farm life.
Leonie brings more than 35 years' experience as a registered nurse, with deep expertise supporting people living with PTSD, schizophrenia, OCD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, autism and ADHD. Tony adds over a decade's experience as a support worker. Together, since 2019 as NDIS registered providers, they've welcomed guests into their home, offering 24/7 respite for adults with psychosocial disabilities.
What sets us apart is the intimacy of the experience. We provide a host family setting with only one participant staying at any one time, and every moment of your stay is supported directly by Tony and Leonie, with no rotating roster of unfamiliar faces. It's the professional care you need, delivered with the warmth of a host family, so you feel safe, comfortable and truly at home from the moment you arrive.
Experience across a wide range of psychosocial disabilities.
We've supported adults living with a range of conditions. If you're not sure whether our respite is the right fit, please pick up the phone. We're happy to talk it through.
